Certificate of Advanced Study in Art Education

The Certificate of Advanced Study (C.A.S.) program in art education is available to those who have earned a master's degree and wish to continue their studies.  Courses in art education examine developmental, intuitive, cognitive, aesthetic and expressive aspects of visual art, as well as the social and political aspects of art education.  The art education programs at Syracuse provides each graduate student with opportunities for continuing growth as an artist, teacher, and researcher through the development of their own arts practices.
