School of Education Career Services

As an alumnus of the School of Education, you have access to professional career services that include updating your credential file and assistance with certification questions. As a graduate of Syracuse University, you also have access to university-wide career services and networking opportunities. Additional services include national and international job postings in education and state specific websites for educators.

School of Education Career Services

Career Services work with Alumni in a number of ways. Former students can update their credential files throughout the life of their career. The file does not contain transcripts, resumes, or copies of certification. Upon your email request, Career Services will update your file and send it to potential employers. The office also addresses questions pertaining to certification, provides information about Central New York school districts, and assists with general inquiries. See what SOE Career Services can help you with.

If you would like more information about updating your credential file or if you have questions pertaining to certification, please contact Brenda Hoefler at blhoefle@syr.edu or 315-443-4759.
