Why Give?

People give to Syracuse University and the School of Education for many reasons — to express thanks to former mentors, to give back to the institution that gave them their start, to be part of something bigger, to gain charitable tax benefits. No matter the reason for giving, at the heart of each gift is the desire to make a difference — to provide the SU community with the means to change lives, communities, and the world for the better.

Our greatest need: The Dean's Fund

Without contributions at all levels of giving to the Dean's Fund, the School of Education would not have the flexibility to meet its students' needs or to seize opportunities to enrich School and Community life. This fund is our most powerful tool to help students in need, advance the School's impact, improve facilities including the Huntington Hall Transformation Project, develop programs of excellence, support outstanding faculty, and to ensure all its students' successes in the field of Education.

You can also mail checks, optionally indicating a use or fund for your gift in the memo field, to
