Candidates for undergraduate admission to Syracuse University apply to a specific major within one of our schools or colleges. Application Timelines

  • Early Decision Deadline: November 15
  • Regular Decision Deadline: January 1
  • Admissions Notification: Mid-March
  • Candidates must reply by May 1

Fall Receptions - October 12, November 6 and 11
Fall Receptions are a great way to spend a full day on campus and explore Syracuse University. During the day you will:

  • Learn more about your academic area(s) of interest and student life
  • Visit a residence hall and take a campus tour
  • Have lunch in a dining hall
  • Meet with representatives from University offices such as Admissions, Financial Aid, SU Abroad, and Summer College

Syracuse Saturday - October 17
Syracuse Saturday is a college visit like no other. While the Fall Receptions give you a general overview of the University and a more in-depth visit to your college of interest, Syracuse Saturday allows you to experience academic life first-hand via “classes” with faculty members. You’ll get an inside look at academic life and opportunities as you hear from world-class professors and staff who are experts in their fields. Representatives from admissions, financial aid, and SU Abroad will also be available to answer your questions. Register online today!
